The NY Times took audio clips from 5 photographers (who use Polaroid instant cameras) pleading their cases to the company that discontinued the film in Feb. 2008. The photographers are hoping that with the help of The Impossible Project, "a group of entrepreneurs that have acquired control of the Dutch factory where the film was once made," they will once again be able to shoot with their beloved film.
