Another Victory for MObama!

The anticipated showdown between fashionable first ladies, Michelle Obama and Carla Sarkozy, took place last week and the results are in! MObama comes out with the victory in a delightful Jaqard silk Thakoon coat, while Sarkozy played it safe with a lambskin Dior number. MObama took the classy route with a pair of black patent kitten heels and Sarkozy wore grey Dior flats.

Sarkozy's ensemble only became grayer (save an adorable neck detail) and MObama revealed a matching fabulously fuschia Thakoon dress. That's our girl!

Happy Chocolate Mousse Day!

As I earlier learned from Jezebel, today is National Chocolate Mousse Day! Did you know we have national food holidays?! Well I didn't either and boy oh boy, April is chock full of them! Here's what we've missed so far;

April 1: National Sourdough Bread Day (break out your bread bowls and corn chowder)
April 2: National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day ( I celebrated this one without even knowing; Crunchy pb & low-sugar smuckers strawberry on wheat for lunch yesterday ;)

So tonight, take your sweetie out to dinner and buy them some chocolate mousse for dessert! I'll keep you posted on the rest of what yummy April has in store for us. Move over, Easter.

Psycho Kelly, Cest Que Cest?

So I finally caught Tuesdays episode of RHoNYC tonight and let. me. tell. YOU. Too much fighting! And that Kelly Bensimone? What a TERROR.

(Don't try and watch the whole clip bc your head will probably explode.)

And while Bethany's book is now no. 5 on the NY Times Bestseller list, guess what Kelly is up to? Just dealing with the assault charges she's facing after giving her bf a black eye. Whose down there and whose up here NOW?!

ToPShoP PanDeMonIuM!

Topshop is OPEN!! WEEEEEEEEEE! And while those of us residing in states that aren't New York will have to wait 'til the next time we visit our friends in Brooklyn (wink) to experience it in all it's glory, we can still check out pics of all the chic/homeless fashion students that cut class to attend the opening. Spotted in the crowd was Sartorialist, Scott Schuman, shooting model, Gracie Carvalho. Could there be a repeat DKNY campaign in the making??

Dream Building?

For the World Expo 2010, the winner of the pavilion design contest thought up this little ditty!

The CraZy building is composed of "with 3866 cubes of varying opacity and requires visitors to enter a dark underground space with audio feeds alluding to the background services." Confused? Read about it here.

YES.
